In 2020: Patience My Friend.

One of the things I hear over and over, while taking photos of kids is,

thank you for being so patient!

I must say, patience is my thing.

I love spending time with kids, getting to know them, and capturing photos of exactly who they are. And sometimes, that just takes time.

And I’m okay with that.  Do you see this DEATH GRIP:

Often parents are more anxious and want to hurry the process along, but I promise you will love your photos more if you just take a deep breath, let the baby cry a little and then see what happens.

I don’t judge–the kid or the parent.

I don’t mind a few tears.

and eventually, with a few moments, tricks and me running around like a monkey…it makes it all worth it.

Have a rambunctious toddler?

Or a munchkin who just never cooperates?

Or even someone who has a special need?  (I will come to your house the night before and get to know them to make your session less stressful)

Let’s make 2020 the year of patience…it’s all part of your story.  And your story is beautiful.
